XPO Logistics presents its vision of the future of the supply chain at SIL and e-Delivery in Barcelona

XPO Logistics, a global leading provider of transport and logistics services, will share its vision for the future of the supply chain at the International Logistics Exhibition (SIL) and e-Delivery Expo & Congress being held in Barcelona from June 26 to 28. XPO experts will discuss the key trends in e-commerce, innovation and sustainability that are shaping the supply chain of tomorrow.

– Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. Logistics 4.0: How to transform data into value: Sergio Gellida, director of IT and projects – Spain, XPO Logistics, will participate in a round table entitled “Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. Logistics 4.0: Transforming Data into Value” and outline the company’s strategy for pinpointing and investing in technology that makes a difference. – Sustainability, Transport and Logistics: How to combine the three elements successfully: Massimo Marsili, managing director, transport – Spain, Portugal and Morocco, XPO Logistics, will discuss the keys to achieving sustainable growth in logistics during the “Sustainability, Transport and Logistics: How to combine the three elements successfully” session. He will highlight innovative approaches to moving freight, such as through river transport in Paris, and to investing, including XPO’s use of mega trucks that help reduce CO2 emissions by up to 20%.
