Industria Felix magazine recognizes the most competitive and reliable companies in Italy

GXO Logistics, Inc. (NYSE: GXO), the world’s largest pure-play contract logistics provider, was honoured to receive the Alta Onorificenza di Bilancio award during the 45th Industria Felix – l’Italia che Compete. GXO, which received the prize in Rome at the Luiss Guido Carli University, was cited as one of the most competitive and reliable companies in Italy and a leader in Italy’s Logistics sector.

Industria Felix magazine, the economics and finance quarterly of Il Sole 24 Ore, and Cerved, a credit rating agency for non-financial companies in Italy, studied the 2020 financial statements of 700,000 Italian companies using an objective algorithm that evaluates metrics such as EBITDA, ROE, financial charges and number of employees. The Scientific Committee identified a limited number of companies, including GXO, in the Logistics and Transport sector that were performing at an exceptional level in management and financial reliability based on the Cerved Group Score.

“We are honoured to have received such an important industry award,” said Chiara Curcio, GXO Chief Financial Officer, Italy and Switzerland. “This award is recognition of our company’s financial reliability and our best-in-class financial processes and teams. During our first year as a standalone company, GXO has achieved outstanding financial results, demonstrating the resilience of our business model and the outsized value we bring to our customers.”
