XPO maakt naam Maryclaire Hammond bekend als Chief Human Resources Officer voor spin-off GXO Logistics

XPO Logistics, Inc. (NYSE: XPO) heeft vandaag aangekondigd dat Maryclaire Hammond zal worden benoemd als Chief Human Resources Officer van GXO Logistics, Inc., de voorgenomen spin-off van de logistieke activiteit van XPO. Maryclaire Hammond wordt verantwoordelijk voor de human resources organisatie van GXO nadat de geplande splitsing is voltooid. Als prioriteiten stelt Hammond onder meer een sterke focus op de betrokkenheid van de werknemers en een constante inzet voor diversiteit, kansengelijkheid en insluiting. Hammonds zal werken vanuit het hoofdkantoor van GXO in Londen. 

Hammond is sinds 2019 bij XPO actief als Senior Vice President Human Resources voor Noord- en Zuid-Amerika en Azië-Pacific. In deze functie bewaakt zij de tewerkstellingscultuur van meer dan 22.000 werknemers binnen de logistieke activiteit van XPO. Hammond heeft meer dan 20 jaar ervaring in human resources voor Fortune 100 bedrijven, onder meer voor BP, waar zij Human Resources Director was voor BP Fuels Noord-Amerika. Daarvoor was zij Vice President Human Resources van Honeywell Turbo Technologies in Zwitserland en heeft zij 14 jaar in het Verenigd Koninkrijk gewerkt.

Hammond heeft een MBA van de Universiteit van Portsmouth, een masterdiploma in vreemde talen en literatuur van Washington State University en een bachelorgraad in Spaans en geschiedenis van Hillsdale College.
