The women of GXO are reshaping our organizational landscape.
GXO is a fast-paced, results-driven organization at the forefront of a very dynamic industry. To successfully navigate continuous change, it is imperative that we build a world class workforce — one that reflects all dimensions of diversity — and that we create a culture in which all team members can thrive.
To do so, we’ve established programs, partnerships and networks to foster women’s career advancement and drive our progress. In Europe, for example, we collaborate with the LEAD network to attract, retain and advance women through education, leadership and business development. In the U.S., we work with AWESOME, a leadership community dedicated to achieving women’s excellence in supply chain operations, management and education,to develop best practices that support women’s career growth.
This year, we’re also expanding a Leadership Development program for female colleagues, initially piloted in the U.K., that enhances our internal talent processes and supports the promotion of women into management and leadership roles. Today at GXO, female employees at every level are earning promotions at a higher rate than our overall employee population.
We’re also adapting our recruiting efforts to ensure we continue making strides as an employer of choice for women. From diverse interview slates to a suite of people-focused benefits designed to help meet personal and family commitments, we strive to ensure we create an environment where everyone can grow and excel in their careers.
While there is more work to do, we are already seeing results — a testament to the important role that women play in our overall success — and I’m extremely proud of our commitment to diversity, inclusion and belonging and the progress we continue to make.
Whether on the warehouse floor, designing an automated solution or serving in the C-suite or on our board of directors, the women of GXO are inspiring their peers and colleagues throughout the world of logistics.
