XPO Logistics Expands Partnership with Getinge in the Netherlands

XPO Logistics, a leading global provider of supply chain solutions, has expanded its partnership with Getinge, one of the world’s largest providers of products and systems for healthcare and life sciences. Under the new contract provisions, XPO will provide warehousing and transport services for Getinge’s Infection Control business unit, with distribution from the Netherlands to the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

XPO is already providing end-to-end supply chain solutions for eight other Getinge business units from XPO’s distribution hub in Eindhoven, in the Netherlands. Services for the Infection Control unit, which will move to Eindhoven, include the management of ambient and temperature-controlled goods, spare parts and detergents for surgical equipment in EMEA medical facilities.
