Oren Shaffer

Biography

Oren Shaffer was most recently Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Qwest Communications International, Inc. (now CenturyLink, Inc.). Previously, Mr. Shaffer was President and Chief Operating Officer of Sorrento Networks, Inc., and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ameritech Corporation. He held executive positions with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and served on Goodyear’s board of directors. Mr. Shaffer has held board positions with XPO Logistics, Inc., Belgacom S.A., Terex Corporation, Demag Cranes AG and Intermec, Inc. Mr. Shaffer holds a master’s degree in management from the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a degree in finance and business administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
