GXO signs the Diversity Charter in Spain

GXO’s participation in the signing ceremony affirms its commitment to an inclusive culture and a diverse workforce in Spain and across its global operations.

Rafael Gutiérrez de Mesa, GXO’s Managing Director of Spain and Portugal, said, “For GXO, it is a great honor to once again commit ourselves to our people by signing this Diversity Charter. For us, it affirms our commitment to inclusivity in the workplace for our employees and to the community to generate a positive impact on society.”

European Commissioner for Equality Helena Dalli, said, “I encourage companies to continue working towards diversity and inclusion, with actions aimed at creating safe and welcoming workspaces, where everyone has a place, contributing to employee well-being and better business results.”

The Diversity Charter, promoted by the European Commission, includes 10 principles that companies and organizations sign to reinforce their commitment to diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities in the workplace. Rafael Gutiérrez de Mesa, was joined at the event by the president of the Diversity Foundation, María Eugenia Girón, and Cristina Villalba, head of GXO’s Belonging, Inclusion and Diversity initiatives in Spain and Portugal.
